Jed first joined the family business in 1982 as an insurance agent. After six months, his father realized that Jed would benefit from further education and ensured his success by firing him. Jed went out to Vail, Colorado to gain life experience. After an attitude adjustment, he returned to work at Dixon Insurance and had the good fortune to be mentored by Darrell Buethner, who taught him the qualities that a good insurance agent embodies. For the past 30 years Jed has worked diligently to build strong relationships with his clients. He is grateful for the lessons he continues to learn from customers and colleagues alike.
